Reddit Video Downloader ツール

Reddit Video Downloader

Reddit serves video and audio as two separate streams, so this tool resolves both and explains when your browser refuses the audio on its own.

対応状況

Reddit's own video host serves the picture and the sound as two independent streams. Resolving a v.redd.it link therefore tends to return a video track and an audio track separately, and a downloader that ignores this hands you a silent file.

This page lists both streams and labels them, so you know before downloading whether the file needs combining with a muxing tool. Only download posts you own or have permission to save.

使い方

  1. ステップ 1

    Copy the post link

Use the share option on the post, or copy the v.redd.it address directly. Both a full comments permalink and a bare video link are accepted by the validator.

  2. ステップ 2

    Resolve the two streams

The provider returns the media tracks it can see. They are shown as separate rows, with the video-only or audio-only nature of each row stated plainly.

  3. ステップ 3

    Download and mux if needed

If you took a video-only row, pair it with the audio row and combine them with a local tool such as ffmpeg. Nothing is merged on this server.

このツールが実際に行うこと

Separate tracks made visible

The result panel marks which rows are video-only and which are audio, so the split-stream behaviour of Reddit is visible instead of hidden behind one misleading combined entry.

Comments links accepted

A full permalink to a post works as well as a direct v.redd.it media URL, because the post id is extracted and the upstream request rebuilt before it is sent.

No silent substitution

If a row has no working link it is reported as unavailable. The tool does not quietly swap in a lower-quality stream and pretend it was the one you picked.

制限と適切な利用

  • High-quality Reddit video usually arrives without audio, and merging the two streams is a local step this site does not perform.
  • Some browsers refuse to play a lone audio stream from Reddit, so download the file and play it from your device instead.
  • Provider download links expire quickly, and quarantined, deleted or private posts will not resolve at all.

Reddit Video Downloader のよくある質問

Why does my Reddit video download have no sound?
Because Reddit stores the picture and the audio separately. A video-only row downloads without sound by design. Take the matching audio row as well and combine the two locally with a muxing tool.
Why does the audio row fail in my browser?
Reddit's audio stream is served in a way some browsers will not play on its own, and a refusal there is usually that rather than a broken link. Downloading the file and playing it from your own device normally works.
Can I download a whole subreddit with this?
No. One link resolves the media of one post. Listings and feeds are not expanded, so each post would need its own lookup through the same box.

Twitter Video Downloader

Both x.com and twitter.com links are accepted; posts carrying several videos or images return all of them, and image-only posts simply return images.

Vimeo Video Downloader

Public Vimeo pages and player embeds are resolved to the renditions the source offers; private passwords and domain-restricted embeds are refused outright.

Facebook Video Downloader

Paste a Facebook or fb.watch link and get the formats the provider can resolve, because what a browser can play publicly is what this tool can hand over.

Public posts only, and always through the same parser. Platforms whose support the provider does not document are marked as pending and kept out of search results until a live run proves them.
