Privacy Policy

Updated 2026-10-18
1. No accounts, no profiles
There is no registration, no login and no user profile. You cannot be signed in, because the feature does not exist. Nothing links two visits together into a personal record.
2. What is processed when you paste a link
- The link you paste is sent to this site's own
/api/parseendpoint over HTTPS. - The server validates it and rebuilds a normalised URL, discarding tracking parameters that came from a share sheet.
- The normalised URL is forwarded to the configured parsing backend so it can return metadata and format information. That backend is operated with this service, not by a third-party advertising network.
- The response is rendered in your browser and is not stored as a download history.
3. What is not collected
- No email address, name, phone number or postal address.
- No uploaded files: this service does not accept file uploads at all.
- No download history, watch history or favourites list.
- No advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics scripts by default.
4. Server logs and abuse protection
The web host and any reverse proxy will typically record routine request metadata such as IP address, timestamp, requested path, response status and user agent. This is standard infrastructure logging, retained according to the host's own policy, and is used for security, debugging and capacity purposes.
To limit abuse, the API keeps a short-lived in-memory counter per client network address for rate limiting. Those counters hold no personal data beyond a coarse network identifier and expire within a minute. When a lookup fails, the error code is logged for diagnosis; the full submitted URL is not written to application logs.
5. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own and writes no local storage entries for tracking. If a hosting provider or an optional analytics integration is enabled by the operator, that would be documented here before it is switched on; the default deployment ships with none.
6. Third parties
The only outbound requests are from the server to the configured parsing backend. Your browser loads no third-party fonts, tag managers or ad networks. Download links, once issued, are fetched by your browser directly from the media provider, which will see your request in the ordinary way any direct download would.
7. Children
The service is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them. Since there is no account system, there is no age-verified profile to create.
8. Your rights
Because the service holds no account record, there is usually nothing to export or erase. Data protection enquiries, including requests relating to server logs held by the host, can be sent to the address on the contact page and will be answered within the period required by applicable law.
9. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date. The site will not silently begin collecting something it previously said it did not collect.
