Copyright and DMCA Policy
We take copyright seriously and respond to properly formed notices. This page explains exactly how.

We host no video files
This is the most important point for a takedown request. TickClip keeps no media library. It does not upload, mirror or re-encode videos, and it never serves a stored file to a second visitor: each prepared file is produced for one request and deleted minutes later, so there is no catalogue of content to remove.
If the material you are concerned about is hosted on YouTube or another platform, the effective route is that platform's own copyright process, which can remove the source itself. If you believe this site's own interface, code or written content infringes your rights, use the process below.
Filing a notice
Send a written notice to the contact address published on the contact page, with the subject line "Copyright notice". A valid notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL on this site that you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may be returned for completion rather than acted on, because acting on an incomplete notice risks removing legitimate material.
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt, normally within a few working days.
- Where the complaint concerns site content, we review and, if the notice is valid, remove or disable the material promptly and notify the affected party where possible.
- Where the complaint concerns third-party hosted video, we explain why there is nothing to remove here and point to the appropriate platform process.
Counter-notice
If material of yours was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. Valid counter-notices are forwarded to the original complainant as required by applicable law.
Repeat infringers
Access is blocked for anyone repeatedly using the service to infringe copyright, and for anyone using it in the prohibited ways listed in the terms of service.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly filing a materially false notice or counter-notice may expose the sender to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, under applicable law. Please be sure of your rights before filing.
